A Government initiative for better local authorities
As part of its drive to achieve the new ‘quality council status’, South Kirkby & Moorthorpe Town Council has to provide information to it’s electorate. In essence this means the publication of a newsletter ‘Community Voice’ that has been designed to inform the public about the services, policies and practices of the council
Please help us to improve the Newsletter - We would welcome contributions from anyone who has stories, information on local history, reports on local activities or information on future events. Please email them to the Clerk if you wish to contribute to ‘Community Voice’ or the Website
With a Government drive toward ‘super parishes’ the new ‘quality council status’ could provide a stepping stone towards your council having greater control of local services.
